About the Speakers:
Stefano Liccioli holds a BSc/MSc degree in Natural Sciences, a MSc in wildlife Eco-pathology, and a PhD in Ecology. Currently, he develops, leads and implements- in collaboration with other staff, partner agencies and research institutions - monitoring and active management programs for the conservation and recovery of Species at Risk in the prairie region of Alberta. His main interests include conservation of endangered species, transmission dynamics and impact of wildlife diseases, conservation genetics and mitigation of wildlife-human conflict.


Graham Dixon-MacCallum holds a BSc in Biology from Acadia University and an MSc in Biology from the University of Victoria. Graham has been working for the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo for 7 years, and has lead the organization’s burrowing owl project since 2017.
