Thank you for your interest in our first Advanced Grazing Systems (AGS) Mentor Training session of 2024! These will be 4-hour sessions, and while being recorded, active participation is required during both days. NOTE: Please ensure you note the start time for your time zone indicated below.
 

February 9, 2024 (Day 1): The Mentorship Process

Overview of mentorship to support producers starting in rotational grazing including the OFCAF program.

February 23, 2024 (Day 2): The Mentorship Process Cont (includes Cell Design workshop)

A deeper look into cell design and development of mentor-producer relations.

Here’s a little more information about the AGS Mentorship:

 
This national program supports mentors with two four-hour training sessions that cover the basics of rotational grazing and the mentorship process as well as continued support. This program supports mentors with both regular peer-to-peer sessions and on-demand resource materials. Mentors work through provincial partners who support them with extension support and delivering the training. Mentors are generally someone already well versed in rotational grazing and interested in helping 10 to 20 farmers develop their own grazing plans.
