Amber is the digital media coordinator at CFGA. She looks after website updates, social media and communications.
In the process of starting a regenerative farm in northern Ontario, Amber holds a Master of Biology with a thesis on water quality and amphibian health in agro-ecosystems. Her bachelors is in Environmental Science, specializing in global change and hydrogeology. Prior to working for CFGA she was a researcher in an agro-ecosystem health and sustainability lab at Agriculture and Agri-Foods Canada and an aquatic toxicology lab with the National Wildlife Research Centre.
Amber loves using her training as an ecological researcher to agro-ecosystems in more applied ways. Having worked on a number of mixed farms across Canada and Europe, Amber is passionate about supporting rural communities to regenerate the lands and steward the waterway they interact with.
