Back To All

Join Saskatchewan Aboriginal Land Technicians (SALT) at the Spiritwood Legion Hall and Witchekan Lake First Nation Pasture on Sept. 17 and 18, 2025, to learn more about managing pasture lands.

The objective of this training is to provide Land Managers across Saskatchewan with information on practices that ensure range and pasture land maintains a sustainable yield of livestock or wildlife while keeping the land and watersheds in a healthy state. There are many ways to implement practices to obtain this goal; deployment of a grazing system, understanding plant species and weeds, addressing water needs and soil.
