John is a father of four and comes to the CFGA conference from Eden, New York. He is a graduate of the Ohio State University and has been involved in dairy cattle nutrition for over 25 years. He has focused on forage quality for the last 20 years and is nationally recognized for his harvest analytics and forage harvest timing. Very comfortable on the farm, John has a reputation for troubleshooting herd and forage challenges. He is a very popular speaker and speaks at many conferences throughout North America. He also has many articles published in Progressive Dairyman and Progressive Forage.
John is currently global technical support for Alltech. He focuses on forage quality, storage management, inoculants, mycotoxins and tying these topics to on-farm nutrition support and troubleshooting.
