I’m based in Toronto (Markham) with a background in grain inspection/grading and farming in Ontario. I hold Bachelors degree in Forestry Product and Marketing, and a Masters in Forestry Management; both from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
After graduation I worked at Lakehead University Agricultural Research Station as a technical assistant. This included working at the research farm doing soil research, mapping and testing. I also worked in SGS Canada as a Grain Inspector, working on testing and grading seeds, and inspection of grain loading.
I’ve been working for CFGA as a data management specialist since 2022. I manage and track CFGA’s data for internal and external reports. I also assist with the On-Farm Climate Action Fund program, and Advanced Grazing Management online learning management system.
I am interested in enhancing agricultural practices through ArcGIS mapping. Additionally, I am pursuing a food science certification.
