On Tuesday, Dec. 3, the Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) is hosting a full day, in-person-only workshop that will be of interest to extension professionals, farm advisors, mentors and producers. Connections and Strategies: A Knowledge Technology Translation (KTT) Communications Workshop will focus on communications strategies and knowledge technology translation (KTT) techniques to help participants connect with their audiences.
This workshop will take attendees on a deep dive into the theory behind establishing connections, learning as an interaction tool and outlining strategies to establish relationships with a desired audience. Featuring noted expert speakers on communications, marketing and social sciences, this workshop promises to be an engaging experience with hands-on activities, demonstrations and real-world examples shared. Participants will leave with a suite of strategies and tools to immediately use to further connections within their industry or audience.
This is a free event taking place at the Delta Guelph Conference Centre. However, those interested in attending must register by Thursday, Nov. 28, to participate. To register contact Kaylee Healy at [email protected].
This workshop is one of two pre-conference workshops taking place as part of the CFGA’s 15th Annual Conference which is being organized in partnership with the Ontario Forage Council and takes place in Guelph, Ontario, Dec. 3 to 6.
