Journée de formation organisée dans le cadre du projet : Programme biodiversité en production bovineMercredi 10 juillet 2024 de 10h00 à 15h00 
À la ferme Grazing Days farm : 567 Rang Sainte-Julie E, Saint-André-Avellin, J0V 1W0

La formation vous permettra d’en apprendre plus sur la gestion des pâturages et programmes d’accompagnement et l’importance de la production animale pour la biodiversité. Une visite au champ vous donnera la chance de mieux comprendre comment protéger les espèce en péril et d’observer les oiseaux. 
Également, un diner de viande et de légumes locaux vous sera offert, vous permettant de faire du réseautage et d’échanger avec les partenaires du milieu. 

Les ateliers seront présentés tout au long de la journée par les collaborateurs suivants  : 
- Paul Slomp – Propriétaire de Ferme Grazing Days farm
- Phillip Lavoie – Agronome, Membre du Groupe Bovi-Expert
- Raphaële Cadieux-Laflamme – Coordonnatrice de projet en gestion durable des milieux naturels, CREDDO
- Maria José Maezo – biologiste, UPA Outaouais-Laurentides

Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
At Grazing Days farm: 567 Rang Sainte-Julie E, Saint-André-Avellin, J0V 1W0

Learn about pasture management and companion programs, and the importance of livestock production for biodiversity. A visit to the field will give you the chance to better understand how to protect endangered species and observe birds. An offered lunch of local meats and vegetables will provide an opportunity to network and exchange ideas with partners. 

Workshops will be presented throughout the day by the following contributors:

- Phillip Lavoie - Agronomist, Member of Groupe Bovi-Expert
- Raphaële Cadieux-Laflamme - Project coordinator for sustainable management of natural environments, CREDDO
