Back To All

The CFGA will be hosting our fall Mentorship Training on Friday Oct. 18th and Friday Nov. 1st from 11 am-2 pm EDT. This training is a critical step in the process of becoming a recognized mentor with the CFGA.

Day One (Oct. 18th): The Mentorship Process
In this session, we will:
- Provide an overview of the CFGA’s Mentorship Program, including program requirements, expectations, and outcomes
- Discuss how to develop positive mentor-producer relationships and approach various challenges associated with being a mentor
- Introduce tools and considerations for cell design

Day Two (Nov. 1st): Cell Design Workshop
In this session, we will:
- Complete a mock grazing plan and assess with an application reviewer
- Explore how to adapt grazing plans to different producer contexts
- Discuss mentoring resources and next steps

Participants are expected to attend and actively participate in both sessions.
